Software Requirements (Version 2.0.1)

1  Purpose

This page captures the mandatory hardware and signal‑level requirements for the upcoming firmware/software release of the Firmware. It serves as a reference for testers, installers and customers to verify that their hardware stack and wiring meet the minimum specifications before flashing the new version.

2  Hardware Prerequisites

  • Gearbox Control Unit (GCU): Devices with serial numbers GCU2202001 and up require a hardware upgrade to address some of the manufacturing isues (Mandatory)
  • Signal‑conditioner board: Required only when interfacing with DCT GS7D36SG speed sensors. (Mandatory for DCT GS7D36SG installations)

3  Required Signal Inputs

4  DCT GS7D36SG‑Specific Requirements

  • Install the signal‑conditioner board between the gearbox speed sensors and the GCU.

7 Nottice of obsolecence

In the upcomming releases following functions are going to be removed and are no longer supported:

  • ZF 4HP transmission
  • NSX transmission
  • Mercedes 722.6 transmission
  • Aisin AA80E transmission
  • Aisin A960E transmission
